Twenty-seven holes of golf in a day?
Not a problem for those taking part in the 4th Annual Golf Triple Play, an annual fundraiser for the Saugeen Shores Community Fund.
Committee Chair John Miller says you’ll play nine holes of golf at each of three local courses: Saugeen Golf Club, Chippewa Golf and Country Club, and The Links at Pipers Glen.
The golfers are bussed to each course.
And golfing sure works up an appetite — so there will be breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the tournament.
Breakfast will be that morning at the Rotary Hall, lunch is at the golf course, and dinner and prizes are done again at the Rotary Hall.
There will also be three hole-in-one prizes — one at each course.
The money raised from the day’s events will go to the Saugeen Community Fund.
Miller says they try to build up the organizations account, so they can then grant money from the interest gained to local projects.
Last year’s tournament raised five thousand dollars with 120 golfers, and he’s hoping to do better than that this year.

The tournament takes place June 24th.
