The OPP have issued a media alert about a sexual offender living in Owen Sound.
Because of concerns about public safety — Grey County OPP are warning that 62 year old Glen Douglas Lee, is living in the area.
He is considered to be a high-risk to re-offend.
The 62 year old Lee moved to Owen Sound on June 10th.
He has completed a 21 month sentence for sexual assault involving young males.
OPP say Lee’s criminal history spans over 24 years with his first offence in 1986.
He is described as a white male, 59″ tall, 220 pounds, white hair and scar on the right side of his face.
Lee will remain on probation for the next 3 years which will be closely monitored by Probation and Parole and Police agencies.
He is not to attend a public park or swimming area where persons under the age of sixteen years of age are present or can reasonably be expected to be present, or a daycare centre, school ground or playground or community centre.
Police should be contacted if he is observed in violation of any of these conditions.
