We’re still over a month away from this year’s 98 the Beach Chantry Chinook Salmon Derby,’ but you can help fundraise for the event.
A barbecue is being held this today at the WalMart in Port Elgin from 11 AM until 5 PM.
You can fill up on sausages, hot dogs and drinks by making a donation.
You’ll also be able to pick up derby tickets.
All of the proceeds go to the Lake Huron Fish Club Conservation Projects.
The actual Derby kicks off Saturday July 24th and runs until Sunday August 8th.
