The Mayor of Hanover is seeking re-election.
Kathi Maskell has just filed her nomination papers.
Hanover Mayor Kathi Maskell wants to keep her job.
Maskell says the last four years have flown by and points out over that time — they have accomplished a lot.
But Maskell says there is more work to be done — including the strategic plan.
Maskell says it’s wonderful to see residents so engaged in the process as the town works together to map out the next 20 years of growth and development.
Maskell describes her job as Mayor as a labour of love — and says she would be privileged to serve the town again in this role.
So far Maskell is the only one to file nomination papers for Mayor’s job.
Former Mayor Bob White and Colleen McMullen have filed their nominations for Deputy Mayor.
