Grey County’s Warden and CAO are touring the region.
Arlene Wright and Lance Thurston stopped by Hanover Council Monday night and the visit was a friendly one.
Thurston calls Hanover an economic engine that Grey County wants to promote, protect and enhance.
He says when Hanover flourishes — the rest of the county flourishes.
Thurston feels Hanover has this sense of energy and prosperity that you don’t necessarily find in other communities.
Wright agrees and feels in order to continue to thrive, municipalities across Grey County need to work together as a team.
She wants to get beyond ‘urban’ or ‘rural’ labelling and instead move forward together as one.
Thurston adds on his tour across the County he’s been promoting value for service.
Thurston feels Grey County is giving good value to residents — and he adds people don’t mind paying a little more if they are getting good value.
