It’s business as usual at the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce.
A news release states that while the recent reports of a possible fraud at the Chamber are correct, it’s not going to impact the Chamber, or the viability of its programs.
That includes Pumpkinfest — the same account where the discrepencies were first found.
There were irregularities between what the bank said was in the Chamber’s account, and what the Chamber thought they had.
As an investigation is still underway by Saugeen Shores Police, Chamber officials say there is no further information available at this time.
But they want to assure the public not to panic, and say programs and services will carry on as normal for now.
