A Cape Croker First Nation resident and three people from London are charged after a stolen firearm was recovered from a vehicle in Perth County.
OPP say they made the arrests on Tuesday during a RIDE check in the village of Monkton when officers smelled marijuana in a vehicle they had stopped.
Police say during a search of the vehicle they seized a weapon earlier reported stolen.
The four appeared at a bail hearing in Stratford today and have been released on a promise to appear in Listowel Court early next month.
They are charged with possession of a stolen weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of break-in tools.
