The Huron County Health Unit is out of H1N1 vaccine and there’s no word yet on when supplies will be restored.
Public Health Manager Christina Taylor says as of today (Mon) all of their scheduled clinics are now cancelled.
She couldn’t say when the Health Unit will get more of the vaccination – only that Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Nancy Cameron, will provide an update this week as she learns more from the Ministry of Health.
So until further notice, clinic’s scheduled at FE Madill Secondary School in Wingham on Tuesday and at the Exeter Legion on Thursday and Friday are cancelled.
The Health Unit has been promised more vaccine and Taylor says they are asking the public to be patient.
She says more clinics will be set up in the coming weeks.
