It’s the perfect place for those looking to start that summer wood-working project.
The 6th Annual Welbeck Wood Expo began yesterday at the Welbeck Sawmill just outside of Durham.
The expo this year is featuring over 20 company display booths with representatives on hand to answer questions.
Welbeck Sawmill spokesperson, Steve Kraus says that the vendors range from wraught iron to stained glass, painting and even lasers.
Craftsman, Hendrik Varju who conducted seminars at the expo says that the show isn’t just for those interested in wood working. He says that with craft vendors on hand and seminars running evey hour, there is something for everyone.
The expo also features interactive booths. Dan Duquette, wrought iron artisan, plans to introduce both children and adults to welding with a station he has set up at his booth.
The show is free to all and will run today from 8 AM until 5 PM.
