A past winner of the 98 The Beach Chantry Chinook Classic Fishing Derby has passed away.
Dave Hyman of Point Clark died Monday at the age of 61.
Hyman won the 2007 derby, and had shown interest in chairing the 2010 derby.
Hyman was also known as a community organizer and Commodore of the Pine River Boat Club.
Visitation takes place at the Memorial Funeral Home on Fanshawe Park Road in London on Friday From 11 AM to 1 PM, when a memorial service takes place at the same location.
