It’s been a little more than four months since the disappearance of an Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh resident from his home.
Huron OPP Constable JoAnna Van Mierlo says police still hold out hope of a successful outcome as they continue to investigate the disappearance of 66 year-old Ronald Hallam.
Hallam hasn’t been seen since he left his Prosperity Line residence on March 25th.
Van Mierlo says the search for Hallam is quickly becoming a cold case.
Van Mierlo says the search for Hallam has been based on little information after Hallam went missing.
Van Mierlo says there were no sightings and there have been very few valid tips as to his whereabouts.
Van Mierlo says besides a ground search in the days immediately following Hallam’s disappearance, police also looked into his bank records.
Van Mierlo says there are times that people who go missing want to remain missing and that there was no unusual activity in Hallam’s bank account around the time he walked away from his home.
Van Mierlo says all options are open to investigators.
Van Mierlo says OPP are not ruling out any options in the ongoing search for Hallam and that police take all tips seriously.
A ground search of the area shortly after Hallam’s disappearance revealed no evidence of his whereabouts.
If you have any information that might help Huron OPP find Ronald Hallam, you’re asked to call either them or Crime Stoppers.
