Besides being Country music stars, what do Beverly Mahood, Tara Oram, George Canyon, Alex J. Robinson and Doc Walker have in common?
They will be performing at Lucknow’s inaugural “Music in the Fields” summer festival.
Organized by the Lucknow Kinsmen Club, the festival taking place August 22 was announced yesterday.
The main headliner, who is a massive country star, will be announced in June.
The event will be hosted by Mr. Lahey and Randy from the hit Canadian television series “Trailer Park Boys”.
The festival is at the soccer field just north of Lucknow and Co-Chair Rick McMurray says they will have camping available within walking distance.
McMurray says the acts pack some star power.
Beverly Mahood and Tara Oram have their own t.v shows on CMT.
Tara Oram also has a hit on the country charts with “538 stars”.
George Canyon is a staple in country music and at this years Juno’s, Doc Walker won “Country Recording of the Year”.
