You may recall we told you of the story at the Southampton Arena on January 22nd where a hockey player struck another player with a stick, hitting the victim in the neck.
The impact made the 15 year old lose conciousness for about 10-seconds and he was subsequently taken to Southampton and then Owen Sound hospital for testing.
Today police say a 16 year old has been formally charged in connection with the incident.
The unidentified teen will be in Walkerton court in March for his first appearance.
Police say the victim is still feeling the effects of the incident.
