Police forces around the region have issued a warning to retailers to be on the lookout for funny looking money.
Owen Sound Police say as many as six businesses may have been victims of accepting counterfeit 100 dollar U-S bills over the weekend.
Police are looking at videotape for suspects.
South Bruce OPP also report a number of businesses accepted fake American 100 dollar bills on the weekend.
Huronia West OPP officers are also conducting a blitz today — visiting businesses to share information about detecting counterfeit money.
