The Markdale Veterinary Clinic was broke into sometime between 9:30 Friday and 7:30 Saturday morning.
The suspects rummaged through cupboards and forced open cabinets before making off with a quantity of drugs.
The value of the drugs stolen is of less concern then the potential that they might be used improperly by persons without knowledge about them.
Two of the stolen drugs, heprean and dexamthasone, are of particular concern and could have deadly consequences if used improperly.
