Grey County OPP were called just before Friday morning by an 84 year old Milton woman who was stuck in the bush but had no idea where.
It was lucky she at least had a cell phone because it was Bell Mobility who was able to narrow down her location.
About an hour and a half after the original call… a Grey County OPP officer found her.
She’d driven down a back road with no winter maintenance near the Osprey-Artemesia town line and onto a snowmobile trail where she became hopelessly stuck.
Police say the woman was a little cold and disoriented but in good spirits.
She was taken to Markdale hospital for observation and was then picked up by family members and taken back to Milton.
