It happened about 2 yesterday Wednesday afternoon on 14th street east of Somers street in Georgian Bluffs.
OPP say a car being driven by and elderly Wiarton man…. was rounding a curve when it was hit by an oncoming car that had crossed the centre line in the road.
Both vehicles were destroyed.
82 year old James Ewing and 65 year old Sheila Ewing were taken to the Owen Sound hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the second car … a white Audi, … fled the scene.
The OPP investigation found the Audi had been stolen in the Southampton area just prior to the collision.
Police are looking for a male, about 55 to 57, slender build, clean shaven with short blonde/brown hair.
It’s believed the suspect was picked up in a gray or beige SUV.
