Some 500 members of the OSSTF, both full time and occasional teachers are covered by the 4 year deal which runs until the end of August 2012.
Teacher salaries go up 3% in each year of the agreement.
There are also some improvements in benefits, and class size reductions are scheduled in the last few years of the contract.
Both the board and teachers recently ratified the package.
The agreement was reached last month with the help of Ministry of Education senior officials.
