A jewellery heist in Kincardine.
South Bruce OPP are investigating a theft at Gilberts Jewellery Store on Queen Street around 12:30 yesterday afternoon.
Police say two men entered the store — and one of the suspects distracted the employee while the other opened a display case and stole eight to ten gold engagement rings.
The value of the rings are estimated at ten to twelve thousand dollars.
One man is described as being 35 to 40 years of age, 5 foot 11, 260 pounds with brown thinning hair — he was unshaved, and wearing a dark jacket and track pants.
The other man was about 20 to 30 years old, 5 foot 8, 160 pounds with blond thinning hair — he was clean shaven and wearing a tan jacket with the name Chad on the right arm.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
