The Hawks downed the Drayton Icemen, 6-1.
It was the final home game of the regular season for the Winterhawks and they were in control from start to finish.
Six different players scored: Rob Grant; Ryan Dudgeon; Brian Kazarian; Brent MacDermid; Brian Martin and Ryan Fry.
With the win, the Winterhawks are guaranteed first place in their division and will play the 8th place team in the first round of the playoffs.
That team right now is the same Drayton Icemen.
The Winterhawks have one more regular season game, on the road on January 31st in Shelburne.
