More charges have been laid in connection with a bogus cheque scam in Bruce and Grey Counties.
OPP arrested a 43 year old Ottawa man last month after he tried to cash a thousand dollar cheque from Zellers at the TD Canada Trust in Mount Forest.
Police say the cheque was bogus and the suspect was using false ID.
Similar incidents occurred in Port Elgin, Wiarton, Markdale and Meaford.
Police have now arrested a second suspect — a 46 year old Quebec man — who is charged as being an accomplice.
Police have also issued an arrest warrant for a 56 year old Quebec woman.
