While the real estate market slumps a local agent is expanding his operation.
Dennis Herman is opening a satellite REMAX office in Tara.
He says Tara has been expanding quite a bit in the last few years with plenty of vacant lots prime for development.
Herman also says its the most central point in Grey Bruce and that makes it easier for many, especially farmers, to visit the real estate office.
He says the office will be staffed by 9 of his sales people from the Owen Sound and Wiarton offices who will each do a half day Monday to Friday.
And Herman says in these tough economic times businesses have to get creative.
His REMAX office will be sharing space with Rogers Freiburger Communications in Tara while Rogers will be sharing Herman’s new location in Wiarton down the road.
Herman says the last four years in real estate have been ‘fantastic’.
He admits 09 won’t be as good but says it’s obviously a great time to buy.
