Bill Goetz says major projects over the past year included the new retirement residence and medical clinic in Mildmay.
He says for 2009, fundraising plans are underway to renovate the Library in Teeswater.
He says the biggest highlight of the past year for South Bruce was the International Plowing Match, which was held near Teeswater in September.
Goetz says it was a major undertaking and turned out great.
The mayor says paperwork is underway to have two bridges in South Bruce rebuilt in 2009.
He says projects like that are always difficult for a small municipality to take on, but he hopes to get it accomplished in 2009.
