There are still just over 450 people in our region without power this morning.
That’s a far cry from the more than 26 hundred people still struggling without electricity as of noon yesterday.
Hydro One’s Website reports the affected areas include Amabel, Derb, Glenelg, Eastnor and in Brant Township.
They have been without power since Sunday’s wind storm; and should have it restored by 4 this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Hydro crews are still restoring power to thousands of customers across Ontario, three days after high winds smashed across the province.
As of last night, 34-thousand Hydro One customers are still in the cold and dark.
The hardest hit areas were north of us, in the Bracebridge, Huntsville, Parry Sound and Bancroft areas.
At one point almost a quarter of a million customers in Ontario were left without power on Sunday.
