Results of a study on the natural heritage of the Municipality of Kincardine will be known sometime in the first quarter of 2009.
The study is being undertaken with the idea of protecting the local environment from development pressure.
An environmental inventory and forestry study is being done to see which trees have to be saved or replanted when development occurs.
Bruce County Senior Planner Dave Smith says none of the study’s details will be released until it is complete.
The details will become public when the study is presented to Kincardine council.
