Deputy Mayor Laura Haight says last night’s downpour put more pressure on the sewage system because of extra storm water flowing into it.
She says vaccum trucks are pumping out storm sewers to reduce the problem.
Haight says Kincardine residents should try to reduce the amount of sewage they create while the system is dealing with the extra burden.
Haight says there are several tree branches down in the municipality.
