The Port Elgin and Southampton Stations will now each have a Station Chief who answers to the full-time Fire Chief.
Jim Threndyle will serve as Station Chief for Port Elgin and Brian Johnston will serve at the Southampton station.
Both have served as acting Station Chiefs since July 2008.
Mayor Mike Smith says both firefighters have years of experience and are well-suited for the positions.
The position of Deputy Fire Chief will be held by the Fire Prevention Officer.
Saugeen Shores previously had two Deputy Fire Chiefs.
