Saugeen Shores Council has approved which council members and citizens will sit on 19 different municipal committees.
The Heritage, Accessibility, and Parks and Trails Committees are among those with citizen representatives who applied for the roles.
Other committees and agencies, including the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority and the Chamber of Commerce only have representation from council.
The appointments are determined by a Striking Committee of Council.
It will meet again in January to decide if a formal Environmental Mandate Committee should be established for Saugeen Shores.
Right now, it is a sub-committee overseen by Councillors Victoria Serda and Thead Seaman.
