Lobb says he wants to take into the meeting ideas and suggestions of what the next federal budget should contain.
Yesterday Lobb and Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller met with several car dealer associations to find out what they’re thinking in light of the Big 3 looking for help from senior levels of government.
Lobb says the meeting in Dunkeld last night brought out over 20 members of the Bruce Grey Automobile Dealers Association.
He says dealers need to have access to credit from the banks at a reasonable rate to continue operations.
Lobb says the credit break should also be extended to the consumers.
He says the dealers want the consumer to have all the options available to them as far as credit goes.
Consumer incentives is another area that’s being studied to increase sales.
Now Lobb would like to know what you can add to the subject.
He says each constituent in Huron Bruce will be getting a mail-out asking for ideas on what they would like to see in the budget that comes down on January 27th.
Lobb will be a guest on Soundingboard on Tuesday, January 6th, just days before he makes his presentation to caucus.
He says he’s looking for input from callers on what they’d like to see in the budget as well.
