Grey Bruce Health Services CEO and President, Pat Campbell held her final board meeting last night.
Campbell accepted a position as the first President and CEO of ECHO, Ontario’s new women’s health agency.
Campbell says advancing women’s health has been a career long interest — and looks forward to making it a priority.
In January, Campbell will work with ECHO to research health initiatives for women across the province.
During her career at Grey Bruce Health Services Campbell had many accomplishments.
She worked on reducing patient wait times, the regional MRI service and raising money for medical equipment.
Campbell says she enjoyed working with the doctors, staff and community in Grey Bruce.
The Board of Directors has selected a consulting firm to help select the next CEO and President for Grey Bruce Health Services.
Campbell says the selection process could take up to four months.
In the meantime — Maureen Solecki, Vice President of Community Relations and Support Services — will step in as Interim CEO and President.
