They’ve responded to 53 collisions since November first.
Police say that number is well above the six year average for the same period of 43.
Police are concerned this year in particular, motorists are not leaving enough psace when approaching or passing snow plows.
They have investigted four vehicle – snow plow crashes alone.
In the most recent case, an oncoming vechile was very close to the centre line, and forced a snow plow to move over, causing its blade to strike a parked vehicle at the side of the road.
Police remind you to give these large vehicles the room they need to do their jobs safely and properly.
