A prestigious award for the Director of Care at Bruce Lea Haven in Walkerton.
Lesley Borth has been named a Mentor of the Year by the province.
Over 80 people were nominated and only 3 awards were given out.
Borth says the award was to recognize people involved in the startup of a new documentation system that will be used province wide to assess people in each nursing home.
Borth says the award is a huge reflection of the great team of staff she works with, from housekeeping to dietary to activation to nursing.
