A 43 year old Huron township woman is in critical condition in Kincardine hospital… following a snowmoble accident early today.
South Bruce OPP and Bruce County Paramedics were called out to the scene at about 2:45am.
Police say the woman was riding on the back of the snowmobile without a helmet.
The snowmobile went out of control and the woman fell off … hitting an undisclosed object.
The victim was taken to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine with serious head injuries.
The driver, a 31 year old Brantford man was arrested at the scene.
He faces several charges including Impaired Driving causing bodily harm, and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm.
The driver is to appear in court in Walkerton on February 2, 2009.
