The investigation into an explosion in Port Elgin continues.
Saugeen Shores Acting Fire Chief Phil Eagleson says they can confirm a gasoline explosion from Friday afternoon is NOT suspicious in nature.
Eagleson says just after 12 noon, crews were called out to a two car detached garage at 418 Johnston Street.
The blaze was brought under control quickly, and out completely within 45 minutes.
Eagleson tells beach news, it is believed faulty equipment is to blame.
That is being looked into by the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office.
Damage is extensive, though a dollar amount has not been released.
