Southampton Girl Guides helped the community kick off the Christmas season as they carolled their way through downtown Southampton Thursday night during the Southampton Sparkles event.
The guides also shared why they enjoy festive events like Southampton Sparkles and what they’re looking forward to about Christmas this year.
One said it’s fun to get together and meet new people. Another said she’s looking forward to spending a nice Christmas with her family and opening lots of presents.
One girl said she enjoys singing, giving and sharing during the holidays.
And another said she likes Christmas because she gets presents and can play in the snow.
