Skiers and Snowboarders can finally agree on something.
All this snow we’ve gotten is pretty good if you plan on going to Blue Mountain this year.
Blue Moutain Public Relations Specialist Kelly O’Neill says their snow making team and equipment are all set to go.
She says the weather conditions in the forecast are ideal for them.
O’Neill says the perfect temperature for making snow is minus 6 or below, and she says temperature and conditions are definitely on their side for the next couple of days.
She says there isn’t an official date for opening the resort for skiing and boarding yet.
O’Neill says they will get closer to deciding on an opening date over the next week or so.
She says their terrain parks and superpipe open after the core area of the resort, and they will be closer to a opening date for those in the next few weeks as well.
O’Neill says the first event to kick off the season will be the frozen rail jam.
She says it’s scheduled for mid December.
