Saugeen Shores Director of Engineering, Dave Burnside had hoped it would be done by mid-November, but says it will be closer to the end of the month now.
Curbs, a sidewalk and signalized intersection are being constructed at Goderich and Lake Ridge Drive.
That becomes the main entrance to Wal-Mart and includes widening Goderich Street to accommodate a left turn lane.
Burnside says curbs are in, they continue to pave the area, and put in sidewalks.
Burnside says they are waiting for Hydro One to raise polls on the west side of the street; once those are up, traffic lights can be put up and activated.
The work is being done at a cost of just over 491 thousand dollars.
