Kincardine Council is hoping for some help from Ottawa for a larger water and sewage system for Inverhuron.
The community is already partially served by municipal water pipes and sewers, but the municipality wants to extend the service to every property.
An application will be made to the federal Building Canada Fund to help cover the cost of the project.
