The Bluewater public school board has a number of its staff under new contracts.
The board has ratified new four year agreements with 300 educational assistants and 150 office professionals and technicians.
The deals call for a three per cent raise in September of each year of the four year contract.
The agreement also includes new job security provisions and the addition of Family Day as a paid stat holiday.
Richard Gerson — the board’s Administrator of Employee Relations — says they will also add up to thirteen full time support staff positions.
The Bluewater board still must finalize a new contract with its elementary and secondary school teachers.
