A 52 year old man faces charges after a stabbing in downtown Owen Sound.
City Police were called to a downtown apartment around 5:40 PM Saturday after a resident called to get an unwanted guest removed.
By the time officers arrived — they found the resident suffering from stab wounds and others inside the apartment — one of which was holding a knife.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
The Criminal Investigations Branch and the Forensic Identification Unit were called in to investigate and seized evidence from the scene.
52 year old Dwayne Baron of Georgian Bluffs has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
He will appear in court today
