Chocolate appetizers and desserts will fill the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre tonight at the Sweet and Savoury Gala.
Marketing and communications specialist Mini Jacques says the event was a hit last year, as about 275 people turned out, so they are holding it again.
She says this year, they’ve expanded it to include things other than chocolate though, and attendees will find delectable appetizers and other desserts too.
All items are from thirteen area restaurants and retailers only.
Jacques says the museum, along with the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation received a grant from the Trillium Foundation for the 114 Km Project.
The purpose of the night, is to showcase retailers within that radius to area residents, following the guidelines of the project.
Advance tickets are needed and can be purchased through the museum.
The night runs from 7 til 11 and included entertainment by the Charlie Bell Jazz Quartet.
Funds raised benefit museum exhibit development.
