A deadline looms for farmers wanting financial assistance with environmental upgrades.
Bruce County Federation of Agriculture spokesperson Jayne Dietrich says all projects have to be completed or very near completion by December 15th.
She says while many big projects are underway, there is still time to do some things and still take advantage of financial assistance while meeting that deadline.
Dietrich says up to 50 thousand dollars is available per farm for things like water wells, manure storages, cattleyards, fencing, tree planting, alternative water sources.
There are two more meetings where farmers can fill out the necessary paper work.
One is set for November 7, the other on the 14th and both are being held in Walkerton at 10 in the morning.
Over 3.8 million dollars in Bruce County has already been accessed from the province for environmental upgrades.
