Kincardine Building and Planning Manager Michele Barr says the Boston Pizza restaurant is planning to open sometime in November.
Barr also says construction of the five-million-dollar Days Inn at Highways 21 and 9 has started.
She says the four-storey hotel will feature 70-rooms, along with the amenities that a Days Inn provides elsewhere in the province such as swimming pool, meeting rooms and a gym area.
Barr says the municipality is quite excited with the continuing construction in the area.
She says construction workers are going quickly to close in the Days Inn build before the snow flies.
When the project is completed sometime next year, 15 to 20 full-time staff will be hired to run the motel.
