Co-Chair Dave Trumble says they are now looking for vocal support of the environmental assessment.
Co-Chair Dave Trumble says they want at least 50 individuals, or community groups who back the idea of a new nuclear build at Bruce Power in Tiverton to come forward.
Trumble says those individuals or groups will go to the EA hearings and explain why having Bruce C is a good thing for the community.
Trumble says this phase of the campaign is designed to ensure the strong community support continues throughout the process in achieving a new build.
Earlier this year, the group secured more than 12 thousand signatures, along with support from each local council in Bruce County.
In June, it received a committment from the provincial government to needing 63 hundred megawatts of output from the Bruce site. (not additional)
The EA hearings will take place sometime next year though no dates have been set.

Bruce Power lost out to Darlington earlier this year as the first site in the province for a new build.
Trumble will be a guest on Soundingboard with John Divinski on Wednesday November 5th at 10:05am.
