Former Toronto Maple Leaf Ron Ellis will be the guest speaker Thursday at 7pm.
Bruce Power Employee and Family Assistance Program Coordinator Heather Baker says they are bringing him in for a mid-day employee session.
Baker says they are then extending the talk to the general public at night.
Ellis will talk about his own battle with depression, and the support he received within the workplace to over come it.
Baker says the Bruce Power Wellness committee continues to work on breaking down the stigma of mental illness, and promoting mental wellness.
She says it’s key the subject be a candid one; the reason for bringing Ellis in.
There are 60 seats available for the public session, available free on a first come first serve basis.
You can call 519-361-7777 to find out if there are any left if you would like to attend.
