It’s a new challenge, and Pat Campbell is looking forward to the move to Toronto as the first President and CEO of ECHO Ontario’s first women’s health agency.
Campbell has resigned from the Grey Bruce health services … and will move to the new job on January 3rd.
In the meantime, she will split her time between the two jobs.
The role of the new agency is to conduct, fund and partner on research initiatives in womens health.
It replaces the Ontario former Womens health council, which Pat Campbell was a member of for several years.
When up and running it will have a 7.5 million dollar budget…. with a much smaller staff than she is used to at Grey Bruce health services.
Campell says it with mixed emotions that she is leaving the Grey Bruce Health Service after 7 years heading up the corporation.
GBHS board chair Butch Grenon says the hunt is now on for a new CEO.
