The OPP Emergency Response Team have joined Bruce Peninsula OPP and Parks Canada staff in the search.
They have focused on the area at Bruce Peninsula National Park in Tobermory.
Searchers are asking for the publics help in hope that the man may have left the park abandoning his vehicle there.
The vehicle is a blue Mazda MPV van.
A check of the vehicle revealed its owner was reported missing to Toronto Police on October 17th.
Police are looking for 50 year old Louis Riklik of Guelph.
He is described as 5 foot 7 with a heavy build and about 180 pounds.
He has short hair and a beard.
