However Council last night has asked that staff to go over the draft by-law once again to clarify a few items.
Director of Community Services Mike Myatt says if a trailer is up for sale, there is a criteria that must be followed.
He says the trailer must be under 20 years of age and in good condition in order to remain in the camp.
Deputy Mayor Doug Freiburger notes that setting an age limit on a trailer would not hold up in a human rights tribunal.
Myatt says there is some controversy as to whether a trailer can remain on the campground.
He says there are some owners that feel their trailers are kept in good condition and should be allowed to stay.
Myatt says the by-law was due for an overhaul from top to bottom.
He says staff spent the last couple of months making the changes and thinks they are good changes.
The draft by-law would also see garbage collection reduced to once a week and campers with a second refrigerator must have it stored in a shed.
The draft by-law will be up for discussion at the November 10th Committee of the Whole meeting and, if passed, a by-law will up for a vote on November 24th.
