They’re all going to be presenters at the Grey Bruce Regional Tourism Conference in Owen Sound tomorrow.
Owen Sound Tourism Marketing official Paulette Pierol says Patricia Brusha and Alicia Whalen of “A Couple of Chicks E-Marketing” will be the keynote speakers.
She says they will talk about how travellers are web savvy and how they navigate to plan their outings and vacations.
Peirol says they will also be available to look at participant’s websites to provide helpful insight.
Gino Ferri of Survival in the Bush Inc of Hanover and creator of “Death on a Painted Lake: The Tom Thomson Tragedy” Gregory Klages will also speak to visitors on providing “experiential” tourism.
Also included in the day-long session is a panel discussion led by Bruce County Tourism Manager of Tourism Chris Hughes and the popular Tourism Awards.
The entire event is being held at the Galaxy Cinemas, and will end with Popcorn and a Movie, featuring the latest “Great Getaways” in Grey and Bruce counties.
Registration is at 8:30 AM and the event runs until 4 PM.
