In a news release from Huron Bruce Liberal MPP Carol Mitchell, Brockton will get almost $72,500 while Saugeen Shores receives just over $6500 for the year 2007.
Mitchell says the money will be used to support municipalities in their delivery of services to taxpayers.
OMPF in this area will assist in the social program cots and policing costs in rural communities.
Mitchell points out the ministry of finance calculates reconciliation when final data for social programs and policing costs for a given year become available.
Municipalities can receive additional funding if those costs exceed the original estimates for that year.
